How to Cook Momos

Cooking instructions for Bindu Bites momos.

  • STEAMED Chicken Momo

    1.) Pour sufficient water in the bottom of a lidded cooking vessel (Instant Pot, rice cooker, or other improvised steamers).

    2.) Add oil to the steamer layer to prevent Bindu Bites from sticking.

    3.) Place frozen Bindu Bites in the steamer basket, leaving ¼ inch space between Bindu Bites.

    4.) Cover and let water come to a boil over medium heat.

    5.) Steam for 10–12 minutes. The internal temperature of the bites should reach 165F.

  • PAN-FRIED Chicken Momo

    1.) Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    2.) Add 2 tablespoons of oil. Place Bindu Bites flat side down.

    3.) The first 2–3 minutes, inspect the underside of Bindu Bites frequently until they are golden brown.

    4.) Next add sufficient water (½ cup) to bathe the bottom of Bindu Bites, then cover the pan with a lid.

    5.) Reduce the heat to medium-low for 9–10 minutes or until water is nearly evaporated. The internal temperature of the bites should reach 165F.

    3.) Place frozen Bindu Bites in the steamer basket, leaving ¼ inch space between Bindu Bites.

  • PAN-FRIED Veggie Momo

    1.) Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil.

    2.) Place Bindu Bites flat side down. The first 2–3 minutes, inspect the underside of Bindu Bites frequently until they are golden brown.
